The United State of Women is a national organization dedicated to convening, connecting, and amplifying voices in the fight for full gender equity. We strive to build and strengthen coalitions at all levels, connect our community to each other to enact meaningful change, and create a more united state of women.

Sarah was thrilled to be chosen as one of the twenty Fellows for the 2019 JBF Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership program!
JBF has created signature impact-oriented initiatives that include our Women’s Leadership Programs aimed at addressing the gender imbalance in the culinary industry; advocacy training through our Chefs Boot Camp for Policy and Change; and the James Beard Foundation Leadership Awards that shine a spotlight on successful change makers.
Sarah has contributed to this organization for decades. As a independent woman who chose to strike out on her own and finding little financial or organizational backing it's pretty easy to feel a kinship to these fellow female entrepreneurs.
